The Medical Assisting program is designed to prepare students for employment as a Medical Assistant working both in the front and back office. Upon completion of the program, you can gain certification as a Medical Assistant, Phlebotomist, EKG Technician and Basic X-Ray Machine Operator. Part-time sessions are NOT available at St. Cloud Campus. 


Estimated program cost $6,195 in tuition, lab fees, certifications, and other fees.

Introduction to Medical Assisting - 250 hours
Medical Office Procedures - 75 hours
Phlebotomist, MA - 75 hours
EKG Aide, MA - 75 hours
Clinical Assisting - 230 hours
Pharmacology for Medical Assisting - 90 hours
Laboratory Procedures - 125 hours
Administrative Office Procedures - 90 hours
Practicum Experience - 200 hours
Successful completion of an OCP may qualify a student for employment.

*BLS & Basic First Aid books are given to each adult student and borrowed to each Dual Enrollment student on the date of the certification class.
